4Ca Waxing

Sec 1 Adjustment Standard


1-1 Amount of Wax Applied
Adjust the degree of contact between the wax and the yarn by changing the number of spacers used. Remove
the wax holder to replace the adjusting spacer.

Wax holder

* There are two standard thicknesses for the adjusting spacers:


0.2 mm and 0.1 mm. Finer adjustments can be obtained by combining the spacers with different thicknesses.

1-2 Adjustment of Wax Holding Force


Reduce the holding force if a deep groove can be made Spring C B A
in the wax surface that touches the wax holder.
1. Remove the ring and cap.
2. Change and adjust the hole that holds the
spring.
* The factory setting is position C.

1-3 VOS Settings


The VOS settings are listed below. Change the setting conditions when necessary.

2-1 Cleaning
If there is any cotton fly or fly wax buildup, the waxing operation may not perform correctly.

2-2 Blast Hose Removal from Clearer


1. Put your left index finger around the hose. Blast hose Clearer
2. Remove the hose by pulling straight toward
the left side.
The hose can be removed from the joint.

* When reconnecting the hose to the joint, insert the


hose all the way in so that it does not come off.
In addition, if the hose comes off due to
deterioration or being warped, replace the hose
with a new one.

Pull the hose with your index


finger to remove.
