ABSORBENT FIBERS

The hemp stem is known to have a great power of absorption; hence it is said that hemp clothing breathes. With this tremendous capacity to
absorb, hemp fibers
absorb the moisture released by the body and let it dry.
Hemp’s absorbency allows it to accept dyes readily and retain color better than other natural fibers, including cotton.

Hemp is an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal plant. These properties help to reduce odors and to stay fresh

Common clothes can block out 30-80% of the ultraviolet rays, but hemp fabrics can shield more than 95% without special treatment.

Hemp fabric will not fade or disintegrate from sunlight as quickly as other natural fibers.
