Dear Colleagues,

We thank you for the presence of Allah SWT, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, the Neurology
Department of Airlangga School of Medicine / Dr.Soetomo General Hospital, and the Indonesian
Neurological Association (INA) Surabaya Chapter, It’s our great pleasure to invite you to attend in
our outstanding Annual Scientific Meeting “The 22nd Continuing Neurological Education 2023”,
which will be held at Bumi Surabaya City Resort, March, 17th – 19th 2023. Our theme for 2023 is
“Prompt Actions in Neurological Disorders: Predict, Prevent, and Restore “. We aim to bring
together colleagues in this event to enrich and update the knowledge of attractive and interesting
topics in the field of Neurology among Neurologists and other related specialists, including General
Practitioners and we promise an exhilarating and multi-faceted scientific program where there will
be exciting exchanges between experts in their respective subspecialties from different centers.
Pharmaceutical and Medical exhibitions are also available. Finally, we sincerely hope your
participation. We are looking forward to seeing you in Surabaya.

POSTER PRESENTATION
The 22nd Surabaya Continuing Neurological Education (CNE) 2023 committee invites you to submit
your abstracts of original research which are related to the main topic of the congress. The Scientific
Abstract Reviewer Committee will evaluate and select the abstracts based on quality, clarity and
relevance on main topic.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION & GUIDELINES


General Policies
1. All poster participants must be registered as symposium participants and have completed their
registration and payment processes. The abstracts will not be processed until the committee
has accepted the registration fee.
2. Abstracts submission will only be received online through website : https://www.cne-
surabaya.id.
3. Abstract submission starts on January 2nd, 2023 at 00.00 until February 28th, 2023 at 23:59
WIB.
4. Participants should pay attention to the deadlines of abstract submission and other updates
in The 22nd CNE 2023 website (https://www.cne-surabaya.id).
5. Participants should review carefully and follow all the requirements related to the abstract.
6. The Scientific Abstract Reviewer Committee will evaluate and select all abstracts for Oral and
Poster Presentation. And it will be announced at March 10th , 2023.
7. Poster will be displayed on March 18th , 2023 at 13.00 - 15.00 WIB and all poster presenters are
encouraged to stand by their posters for discussion with the jury and participant at that time.
Posters should be installed by 08.00 WIB and dismantled after 17.00 WIB at the date.
8. Oral Presentation will be held on March 18th, 2023 at 13.00 – 15.00 WIB.
9. The publication rights will belong to the committee of The 22nd CNE 2022.
10. Participants should follow the committee’s decision.
11. Best oral and poster presentation will be announced and rewarded in the congress on March
19th , 2023.

Abstract Format Guidelines


1. Language English (Clear with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for
publication)
2. Abstract titles should be concise and should not contain abbreviations
Please use Title Case and make sure to bold the entire title. Example : Title of Abstract (Times
New Roman, Bold, Size 14, Flush center)

3. Author First name (s) or initials of first name (s) followed by family name. Affiliation details of
all authors: Department; institution/hospital; city; country.

4. Body
a) Supported file format is Microsoft Word
b) Font : Times New Roman, Size: 11 in single line spacing. Except for the first line, the text
should be intended from the left margin by 10 mm.
c) Abstracts must not exceed a 250 word limit. The word limit relates only to the text of the
abstract and does not include title, authors and institutions.
d) The abstract should be concise and present the background, objective, method, result and
conclusion.

Poster Format Guidelines


1. The poster session will be held according to the schedule of the committee.
2. The size of the poster is 90 x 120 cm.
4. The letters and illustrations on the poster should be readable from a distance of at
least 1 (one) meter.
5. The full name and office of all authors and co-authors (name of organization,
institution, university or office) must be mentioned.
6. Participants must be present at the time of posters assessment by the jury
7. Participants must provide 5 copies of full text for the committee.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
All the registration process is done through the congress official website of this event,
https://cne-surabaya.id

The registration deadline is as follows


Onsite registration Workshop/ Teaching Course: March, 17th 2023
Onsite registration symposium: March, 18th 2023

Only fully completed registrations will be accepted. The registration fee is based on the date of the
receipt of the registration and the payment in full in accordance with the deadline mentioned
above. Should one deadline be missed, the next applicable fee will be charged automatically. The
registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment in full. Each participant will receive
electronic confirmation of their registration.
If the maximum attendee capacity is reached, the organizers reserve the right to refuse any
registration.
