ANCHORING SCRIPT

Intro-

Pavakee: As we all know farewells are not to say goodbyes but to start a fresh beginning.
Dance-1:
Afifa: Now without further ado, it’s time for a little momentum. Simonides rightly said that
Dancing is silent poetry
Pavakee: Dancing is like dreaming with your feet!
To dance is to reach for a word that doesn’t exist,
To sing the heart song of a thousand generations,
To feel the meaning of a moment in time.
Afifa: Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for a frenetic dance performance by
Ana, shanadini and their co-dancers- arpitha, sristhi, humera, jaza, keerthi and dakshatha.
Stand-up comedy:
Nida: Now you’ve seen these two spontaneous people always highlighted for their harkatein
Ayesha: and now again they are here to entertain all of us. Let’s give a warm welcome to
Afifa and sheza
Drama-
Pavakee: life is filled with never-ending drama
Afifa: and especially here at PPS, drama never seems to end so let’s call upon a few people
who are going to enact our draamebaazi
Dance-2:
Nida: You have seen them dance on various occasions and today they are here to give us
another electrifying performance.
Ayesha: so let’s put our hands together for devika, afifa, vihana and their co-dancers: zoeya,
zaiba and Kusum
Speech by seniors:
Ayesha: Before we continue with our dhamakedaar set of events
Nida: Let’s take a moment to show gratitude and here we have a few seniors who are going to
share their experiences with us
Ayesha: Let’s give it up for Umaiza and Farha

Afifa: Now we have two more seniors


Pavakee: Let’s call upon
Siddharth and Safwan
Ayesha: Let’s call our last set of seniors
Nida: Bring it on for Aabha and Suha
BOYS DANCE
Pavakee: Now coming back to the most awaited performance of today’s set of events, the
boys’ dance
Afifa: So let’s make some noise for the desi boys and call them upon the stage
Boys singing
Nida: That was a very energetic dance done by our ninth-grade boys but let’s not forget
our senior boys who aren’t any less either
Ayesha: So let’s give Hussain and Rayan from 10th grade a warm welcome as they sing
for us
Teachers speech
Pavakee: Last but never least we have our hidden stars who are responsible for who we
are today
Afifa: So let’s call some of our beloved teachers: Soumya ma’am, Dakshayini ma’am,
Charles sir, Shweta ma’am, Srilakshmi ma’am and Poonam ma’am
Ramp-walk
Nida: Now we have a runway set for our beloved seniors to showcase their outfits
Ayesha: So let’s call our stars of the evening on the stage
Dj
Pavakee: After all these dance performances, I bet all of you also want to dance
Afifa: So we have an open dance floor with a DJ for everyone
Closure speech
Ayesha: We’ve had our seniors speak, now it’s time for a junior to speak her mind
Nida: let’s call Fathima Sheza on stage for the closing speech
