Porposal To Introduce French in UG
Porposal To Introduce French in UG
For developing
A course on
Fundamentals of French Language
In UG, UPES ON
Course Overview:
The NEP 2022 recommends a three-language formula for language learning, particularly for students in
schools. It suggests that students should learn three languages: their mother tongue or regional language, a
second language, and a foreign language. The choice of foreign language is left to the discretion of students,
schools, and states.
In line to the demand across the nation, a course on French language is proposed for the UG students of UPES-
ON. The course is designed to help French language aspirants learn the language from level zero. As a part of
pedagogy video based lessons are designed to help the learners understand the concepts faster. It also
includes the situational role-plays and plenty of other activities which can be performed by the students at the
end of each unit. Online live sessions will be taken to educate the students and they will be given additional
study material for a self-paced learning.
This course is unique, as a very few courses are available of the similar nature in online mode. It is going to set
a new benchmark in the field of online language learning.
