Social Work Intern As a social work student nearing the end of my undergraduate career, I
Poudre School District am confident in my decision of wanting to work with children. I have
Fort Collins, CO honed the skills needed to connect with children who are both
80525 dysregulated and emotionally regulated. I have worked with children
one-on-one through the Laurel Elementary School program known as
Happy Hearts. I also volunteer weekly at ChildSafe, providing free
childcare for dysregulated children ages five to thirteen. Throughout
these experiences, I have gained the ability to build rapport with children
and adjust interactions in ways to best connect with each child.

I pride myself on my ability to form strong open communication with

clients and create a sense of trust, which allows me to help them in
whatever way they need.

I am excited about the opportunity to work with the Poudre School

Social Work Team and continue my education in child therapy. Thank
