Learning Feedback Diary

In the ICU over the past two days, I've had a comprehensive exposure to
critical care dynamics. On the first day, I closely monitored and recorded vital signs for a
patient undergoing hemodialysis, gaining insights into the intricacies of managing patients
with complex medical interventions. Additionally, I actively participated in our team exam,
applying theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. On the second day, the focus shifted
to high-pressure situations, notably during a Code Blue where I learned to manage critical
conditions efficiently. Tasks such as suctioning for endotracheal tubes (ETT), regular
assessment of patient vitals, and coping with emotional challenges were integral parts of
my learning. Engaging in monitoring activities and participating in Endotracheal Tube
suctioning and Tepid Sponge Bath (TSB) further augmented my hands-on experience,
emphasizing the multifaceted nature of care in the ICU. I am Greatly thankful to our
clinical adviser and staff nurses for the experiences and learning I acquired, soon these
leanings will be useful in my future career as a Nurse.
