Analyzing CMHL`s Vision and Mission

Strategic Vision of CMHL

CMHL has adopted a visionary master strategy till 2025. The grand strategy is that we are
allocating the Company`s resources to innovate, develop our assets and to create more socio-
economic value for our different stakeholders.

CMHL's strategy can be divided into three parts: the company`s resource to innovate,
develop our assets and to create more socio-economic value for our different stakeholders.
CMHL has further analyzed these 3 parts with 7 points. The first part is the company`s resource
to innovate part, which includes (2) items, The innovative company and the homegrown
company. The second part, the develop our asset’s part, includes the market-leading company
and the employee’s company. The third part, which is to create more socio-economic value for
our different stakeholders, includes three points: The first-choice company, The valued company
and the responsible company. The meaning of these points is as follows.

1. The first-choice company

The preferred business partner because of our integrity, knowledge of the market, ability to
executive and volume.

2. The market-leading company

In each retail format which highest market share and zero loss making stores.

3. The valued company

Which provides safe, quality-assured, healthy products and sources locally wherever possible.

4. The employee’s company

The No.1 employer of choice in the retail industry because of the culture and values that embody
and the growth opportunities we offer.

5. The responsible company

The benchmark of excellence for responsible business practices and a leading contributor in
helping the government create economic value.
6. The homegrown company

Which is independent, publicly listed and partly employee owned.

7. The innovative company

Serving through our physical and digital platforms, always enhancing customer experience
through innovative technology.
