Objectives  Students will be able to know better about how the ancient Phoenician made their blown
glasses, and seafaring
 Students will be able to see how Phoenician develop their sail ships and dye
 Students will explore the cultural practices and trade goods of the Phoenician civilization.

IFL The Phoenician trade, especially through Byblos, played a role in the dissemination of the word
"Biblos," which eventually gave rise to the word "Bible."

Materials PowerPoint, Worksheet

Strategies Reading and comprehension

Use visuals, such as maps and images, to engage students.
Relate historical information to present-day relevance to keep students engaged.

Procedures Friday:
 Greeting and introduce the topic

 Review the previous class lesson

 Go through each slide explaining

 Play videos from the slide providing a deeper understanding.

 Interact with students by asking students during the lecture
