till date.

Previous Employer – Larsen & Toubro Ltd, ECC Division.

From July 2006 – May 2008: As HSE Officer, engaged in the Development of Jindal Steel Plant
Expansion Project, Bellary, Karnataka, India. (Blast Furnace – 3 & 4, Basic Oxygen Furnace &
Continuous Casting Plant -2 and RMHS -2)

Client: Jindal Steel Works South Ltd.

Duties & Responsibilities (Current Position)

● As a HSE Officer in CCIC, Qatar in RasLaffan Port Expansion Project (RLPEP).

● Implementation of the company's Health, Safety and Environment Policies and Procedures.
● Increased “Safety Awareness” through regular Tool box Meeting.
● Conduct Investigation for all Near Miss Cases, Dangerous Occurrence and Reportable
Accidents and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
● Carry out HSE inspection of work area, work method etc.
● Prepared JSA for all the critical activities.
● Conducting Site HSE Audit on need basis.
● Install Fire Extinguishers and other Fire controlling methods at strategic locations in site &
its regular inspection and maintenance.
● Assist in conducting HSE training programmes and Emergency Mock Drills.
● Register customer complaints and take corrective action.
● Implement “Work Permit System” for all the critical activities.
● Aware with QP Marine and Safety regulations and requirements and updated with the latest
International Codes / regulations.

● Successfully RLPEP project selected for and completed Auditing for the certificate renewal
of OSHAS 18001-2007, ISO 9001-2007 & ISO 14001-2004.
● Project achieved "22 Million Safe Man hours ".

● Project achieved “5 Million Safe Man Hours” without Lost Time Injury.
● Awarded “Quality Trophy” for the project for establishing and enforcing quality standards
in the project operational process in 2007.
● Awarded as the “Best Managed Region in Safety” for Bangalore region for the year 2006-
2007 as a result of executing projects ensuring efficiency and regulating safety measures for
a smooth work flow.
