EARTHQUEKS
Earthquakes are the sudden trembling of the earth
which causes seismic waves which causes a serious
damage to any of the structure. Earthquakes is also
known as quake, tremor and temblor. Earthquakes
releases a lot of energy suddenly which results in
sudden shaking of earth which causes destruction.
The seismic waves can produce different type of energy
on particular time and particular location. This can
cause different type of earthquake like different
magnitude. The earthquakes range from 1 to 10 and
the highest earthquake was occurred in chili located in
south America which the magnitude was 9.5 which is a
very strong earthquake in the world.
At the surface of earth, earthquakes manifest
themselves by shaking and displacing or disturbing the
ground. When the epicentre of a large earthquake is
located offshore, the seabed may be displaced
sufficiently to cause a tsunami and also causes landslides.
Earthquakes can also trigger landslides. An epicentre is
the point on the earths surface directly above the hypocentre
or focus, the point where an earthquake or an underground
explosion originates.
Earthquakes mostly originates from the tectonic plates. Tectonic
plates is the scientific theory
that Earth's lithosphere comprises a number of
large tectonic plates which have been slowly moving
since about 3.4 billion years ago. These plates are broken
parts on earth when these parts move, they create a lot of
energy which causes earthquakes.

THE PACIFIC RING:

The pacific ring is the biggest tectonic plate on the
earth which the whole Pacific Ocean.
. The pacific ring contains so many epicenters and also
in the pacific ring the world’s biggest earthquake took
place that is in chili. The country’s located in the pacific
