What is the role of DNS?
DNS converts ‘human
friendly’ URLs (web
addresses) into ‘network
friendly’ IP addresses.
Why do computers use the binary
number system?
Because CPUs are
effectively made up of
switches that can be in only
one of two states (on/off).
Computers can therefore
only represent 2 digits (0/1).

instructions, which can be
directly processed by the
CPU.

If comments are used, at a later
date, if the code is developed by

more easily understood, reducing
the chance of errors being
introduced to the program.
