Fitri Alcon Employment Contract
1. APPLICATION
1.1. The coming into force of this Individual Employment Agreement shall render null and
void any other agreement; express or implied that purports to provide compensation,
remuneration, reward, or employment conditions before this agreement comes into
force.
1.2. The terms and conditions contained herein may vary by agreement between the
Employer and the Employee in writing.
2. POSITION
3. SALARY
4.1 Your job and responsibilities are contained in Safety Guidelines and Instructions Book
numbered KKS/OPR/F12-0. This book contains the guidelines and safety instructions that need
to be read, understood, and practiced fully. Any questions about the content of this book may
be submitted to your officer.
5. PROBATION PERIOD
5.1. The Employee shall undergo a period of probation of three (3) months from the date of
commencement hereof after which, based on the performance review process results;
5.2. Appointment confirmation, an extension of the probationary period with PIP, and
termination of work will be notified to the employee, after the end of three (3) months.
5.3. Leave taken during the probationary period will be considered as leave without pay
(unpaid leave).
6. EMPLOYMENT PERIOD
6.1. The Employee is required to serve the company for two (2) years, unless the Employee
is deemed unfit to perform his/her duties, with a medical report, he/she will be
terminated on medical grounds.
6.2. Either party can terminate the employment contract by giving 1 month's notice or pay in
lieu.
6.3. If the Employee or Employer wishes to terminate service with the company after
confirmation, either party may terminate this agreement according to the year of
service as below:
6.3.1. 1 to 2 years service = 4 weeks notice or repayment of 4 weeks salary by any party.
i) Deepavali 1 day
j) Thaipusam 1 day
k) Christmas 1 day
8.1. On public holidays, company will pay according to the labour law.
9. ANNUAL LEAVE
9.1. Your Annual Leave is as below. This leave will only be paid at a pro-rated rate from the
date of work commencement.
10.1. You are entitled to take sick leave as follows. This leave will only be paid at a pro-rated
rate from the date of work commencement.
10.3 The company will only accept the original sick leave certificate from a government clinic.
10.4 If you had an accident, you are required to notify the patrolling officer/ supervisor, and
then make a police report within Twenty-Four (24) hours for insurance claims.
11.1. The employee is required to work 8 hours per day as normal working hours to be eligible
to get their basic salary.
11.2. Recommended working shifts are from 7 am – 7 pm and 7 pm – 7 am. Please refer your
work schedule to your supervisor. This would vary by the company.
12.1. Any request for leave, except for emergency leave must be submitted to the office
within five (5) days before the effective date of leave. The officer or the company may
refuse to accept your leave if the request for leave is less than five (5) days.
13.1 You are required to report to work on time and leave your work after the next security
guard takes over your place. Delay in reporting or leaving work too early without
specific reasons will result in a warning letter.
13.2 You must sign the Attendance Book when you report to work and sign the book again
when you report out of the workplace.
13.3 The company has an online attendance system where you are required to take your own
attendance at the workplace.
13.4 If you do not report for duty for three (3) consecutive days without notifying your officer
except in an emergency, the company is entitled to terminate your service immediately
without prior notice.
13.5 The attendance will be confirmed by in/out records using security passes (if any).
Through attendance records, the company will calculate the number of regular working
hours, overtime and rest day leave, and others for the pay period.
15. SALARY
15.1 The company attendance cut-off day is on the 15th of each month.
15.2 Your salary will be paid within 7 days from the cut-off date.
15.3 You are required to open a bank account with Standard Chartered within five (5) days
from the date you start working. The account number must be given to the officer who
will submit it to the company. If you fail to do so and require payment of salary, the
company will not be liable for the late payment of salary.
16. INSURANCE
16 The Employer shall provide an insurance policy as per the existing Workers
Compensation Scheme.
17.1 Uniform and other safety equipment will be provided by the Employer.
17.2 You must wear a uniform, name identification card, cap, baton, and other safety
equipment while on duty. Failure to do so will cause you to be given a warning letter by
the Employer.
17.3 You are required to return all equipment belonging to the company when you terminate
the service.
18.1 The Employer has the right to transfer you to another place/post without referring to
you and you may also request to be transferred to another branch if there is a vacancy.
19. OTHERS
19.1 Any questions or concerns should be directed to the Patrolling Officers on duty or by
writing to the head office
20. DECLARATION
If you are involved in any one of the above lists, the company will take strict disciplinary action
including termination of employment without notice.
