HOW TO SET UP MY GRADE BOOK

How to set up my Grade or Grading system?

• Step 1: Go to My grades

• Step 2: Click on the subject you wanted to add a grading System

• Step 3: Click on Set up


• Step 4: Click the Edit icon opposite to your subject then select Edit
setting.

• Step 5: Change the Aggregation to Weighted mean of grades


• Step 5.1: Click on Category total and change the Minimum
grade to 40 (if base 40) or 60 (if base 60) , then SAVE
CHANGES

• Step 6: Adding of Parent categories or the Base Grade of the grading


(ex. Prelim, Midterm and Finals)
• 6.1: Click Add category
• then type a grade name for your parent category (ex. Prelim,
Midterm and Finals)

• 6.2: Change the Aggregation to Weighted mean of grades


(this will enable you to add all weights on your sub-
categories)

• 6.3: Click on Category total and change the minimum grade


to 40 (if base 40) or 60 (if base 60)

• 6.4: Save changes


• Step 7: Adding of Sub-categories
• 7.1 Click Add category then type a grade name for your sub-
category (ex. Prelim quiz, Midterm Quiz, Final Assignment
and etc.)

• 7.2 Change the Aggregation to Simple weighted mean of


grades

• 7.3: Click the Parent category tab on the bottom part, and
then select the appropriate parent category of your choice

• 7.4: Save changes


• Step 8: Add the percentage to the parent and subcategories that you
have made

• Step 9: Save changes
