 Technology Should Stay at ABC Community School

Technology should stay in ABC Community School as this is our future. Long gone are

the days of paper and pencil , textbook written assignments, pencil sharpeners, lined paper and

wondering what is out there in the world. As we move on with technology around us, education

has also the need to keep growing. It has enhanced learning opportunities for everyone and why

should we not have technology in schools, every other field has implemented it! Why should

education fall behind? Education is always seen as lower than every other field but why should

we be seen that way?

In my opinion it is the most important field as we educate our future generation and get

them ready to enter the workforce in their careers everyday! If we want to keep inspiring future

teachers then we also need to keep up with technology and advance with it without doing so it

would be detrimental for future students.

Technology will not stop and so getting rid of it in education would be a complete

disaster , our students will not have the skills to go out and live in the real world, they would not

have the necessary skills to keep this world moving.

Technology gives us opportunities to students that we didn’t have. Easier access to learning and

keeping up with 21st century technology.

According to an article written by American University Washington D.C. on “How

Important Is Technology in Education? Benefits, Challenges, and Impact on Students” , “Many

of today’s high-demand jobs were created in the last decade, according to the International

Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). As advances in technology drive globalization and

digital transformation, teachers can help students acquire the necessary skills to succeed in the

careers of the future.”

 We need to keep technology in schools or we would not be doing our service which

would be to keep our students engaged, learning and ready to take on the challenges that life will

present. Technology in schools brings so much more with education , it brings collaboration, fun

and engaging learning environment, more accessibility, connections and facilitates personalized

learning. We need to keep our students engaged in education and technology will help us do so.
