Exhortation 9 am

“When I say Your Name.” What is in Jesus’ name?

In Philippians 2:9 it says there: Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name
that is above every name”

In an article that I read, it says there that Jesus was a very common name in first-century Israel. The only
thing that sets apart the name of Jesus of Nazareth is the Person it belongs to and kung ano ung ginawa
Nya para sa atin. Church, Jesus is not a magic word-there is only power in Jesus Christ, himself. The
power that saves, heals, protects, all resides in the person of Christ, and Jesus is His name. But where
there is no faith, no relationship, or no submission to His lordship, the name Jesus is nothing but a word.

Let us pray.

Jesus, your name is indeed the name above every names. Your name is a fortified tower. Thank you for
reminding us through your word, that when we say your name and by believing in you, everything is
possible. This we declare in Jesus’ name. Amen.
