CLINICAL NOTES:

? Rectus femoris avulsion fracture

FINDINGS:

Alignment is anatomical.

The right hip joint is normal.

The left hip joint is normal.

There is a fragment of bone adjacent to the anterior inferior iliac spine suggestive for an avulsion injury of the rectus femoris
muscle.

The differential diagnosis would include calcific enthesopathy.

No other bony abnormality.

No other abnormality.
