I. Title: Learning Teaching Through Assisting


- Learning Experience 4: Recording Learner’s Assessment Result
II. Objectives: After completing Learning Experience 3, the prospective teachers are
expected to:
a. Accurately record learner’s assessment results.
III. Introduction
*LE 4: Having accurate factual and up to date record keeping of learner’s
academic output is very important part of teacher’s role. Teachers need to keep effective
assessment records of every student so that they can have accurate judgements about
their student’s progress. Moreover, these records are important to parents so that they
can have a clear understanding of their children’s learning progress and achievement in
school. A student teacher needs the experience of how proper recording of academic
outputs and performance task is done by the teacher. Follow strictly the instruction of
your CT while you help in recording learner’s assessment results.

In this learning experience, you will be made to observe how this is


applied/implemented in schools.

A. Learning Essentials/Activities
● A.1 EXPOSURE: Collecting and Safekeeping of Academic Outputs and
Performance Tasks

Assist your Cooperating Teacher in checking the accuracy of entering the class
record of the students; academic output and performance. Follow your CT’s guidelines
on how to keep and safeguard the student’s learning outputs.

ACTIVITY
List down your CTs guidelines or instructions on how you will collect, sort, and keep
the student’s output.
Example : Use pencil in recording
1. Ipinapapasa forward ang papel pagkatapos ay sideward. Sa oras na ipinapapasa
ng guro ang papel ay sinasabihan niya na huwag maingay at tumayo.

2. Walang partikular na gamit ang sinabi kung anong gagamitin sa pag-record ng


mga output ng estudyante.

3. Binigyan kami ng soft copy ng grading sheet upang kami ang mag-encode ng
mga grado na nakuha ng mga bata at aming iniwasto.

A.3 IDENTIFICATION: Reexamining your Assisting task

As you record the assessment results of the students, what are some of the critical
issues of accountability in recording that have you experienced?

Hindi ka dapat nagtatangi o walang pinapaboran sa pagbibigay ng grado. Bilang


guro hindi dapat magdagdag o magbawas ng grado sa isang mag-aaral. Kinakailangan
ding maiwasto ng husto ang bawat aktibidad pagkatapos nito ay sa oras ng pag-rerecord
ay kinakailangan dahan-dahan upang hindi malito. Laging i-double check ang pangalan
upang mailay ang kanilang mga iskor ng tama. Sa pamamagitan ng maingat na pagre-
record maiiwasan ang pagkakamali at maling pag-encode ng mga grado.

A.4. INTERNALIZATION: “Recognizing the Importance and Difficulties in


Recording Learning Outputs and Performance Tasks”

1.What are the challenges you encountered in assisting your CT in recording


students’ academic learning outputs and performance tasks?

• Sayo nakasalalay ang magiging resulta ng grado ng mag-aaral kung


nailalagay ba nang tama ang kanilang score at walang typographical error,
dahil ngayon ang kadalasang gamit sa pag-rerecord ay laptop.
• Kailangan hindi ka nagtatangi. Nahihiya ako bigyan ng magkakaibang
iskor ang iba dahil naiisip ko na baka sumakit ang loob nila sa akin o
magkumpara sa iba.

● A.5. DISSEMINATION: Preparing and Recording Strategies

From the experiences and challenges, you have encountered, make your own plan
of preparing and recording strategies relative to your future students’ academic outputs and
performance tasks.

a. Magrecord ng mga iskor kaagad at huwag na hayaang matambakan.


b. Laging magkaroon ng back-up file upang kahit masira ang laptop ay naroon pa
rin ang mga grado.
c. Laging i-double check upang masigurado ang kawastuhan.
