IMPACT OF STUDENT LEADERS' STRATEGY

TO THE BEHAVIOR OF THE STUDENTS OF


CCNHS MAIN CAMPUS
The first co-curricular student organization given permission to manage and carry
out relevant projects, programs, and activities at National High School Main Campus
is the Supreme Student Government (SSG). By offering students a place where they
can develop their leadership knowledge, skills, and attitude, it creates the foundation
for good governance, voluntarism, unity and cooperation. It also prepares students to
become better members of society in line with the values of participatory and good
students. The future leaders came up with different strategy to manage and enhance
the students' behavior and attitude in their classroom and within the school grounds,
with the help of teachers and advisers they are able to shape a student to be better
member of society.

In a study of Dr. Stephanie Caracelo(2016),"EVALUATING A STUDENT


LEADERSHIP PROGRAM'S IMPACT ON STUDENTS' BEHAVIOR AND
ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS" . They visited a school that had taken the decision
to utilize the Leader in Me technique to help them handle a recent rise in behavioral
incidents and a decline in academic achievement. The outcomes showed that the
adoption of Leader in Me was significantly changing student behavior, as shown by a
decline in negative behaviors and an increase in the frequency of positive leadership
behaviors. Faculty interviews also highlighted an expanding leadership and learning
culture that was enhancing the institution. Based on the encouraging results, the
researcher created a policy paper that suggested Leader in Me as a method for
enhancing educational outcomes.

In relation to that, according to Ms. Bai Ruqaiyah Abubakar a former SSG


OFFICER of CCNHS MAIN CAMPUS (2019-2020). They created a core, which is
the USAPANG BARKADAHAN CORE, it's a focus group discussion where students
are free to voice out their problems and concerns to the student leaders,this program
let students feel more at ease to share their concerns without hesitation to the student
leaders. It has a huge impact on the students' behavior as it promotes a
student-friendly environment which helps students improve their socializing and
communicating skills and unity among students and peers. However, it's important to
note that the impact of student leaders' strategy may vary depending on the context.
Different countries and educational systems face unique challenges, such as
socio-economic disparities, or cultural barriers.
Therefore, the researchers aim to study this topic to find out what is the actual effect
of student leaders' strategy to the behavior of the students inside and outside the
classroom/school. Furthermore, the researchers also wants to know, if there are other
ways to help them improve their behavior to promote growth mindset among students
and peers. Moreover, the researchers amis to help the students who have problems
with their behavior and come up with a new strategy suitable for their case, this study
focuses on the behavior of the students to help them be more productive and active,
not only in their classrooms but also in their society. Lastly, the researchers wants to
help our teachers and advisers in managing the students and their behavior.
