INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

1. On receiving the Hall Ticket, the Student should ensure the correctness of the (i) Name
(ii) Register Number (iii) Subject Title (iv) Subject Code (v) Dates of the relevant
examinations as given in the time table. Any discrepancy should be brought to the
notice of the Heads of the Department and COE’s office immediately.

2. Candidates should ascertain the Time Table for the theory examinations.

3. Candidates should be present at the respective centre for the theory examinations half
an hour before the commencement of the examinations.

4. Candidates are required to carry their ID card to the Examination Hall without fail.

5. Possession of papers or any other material with hints and mobile phones are strictly
prohibited in the Examination Hall. If any candidate is found to be in possession of said
materials, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the Examination.

6. Before answering the Question Paper candidates should satisfy themselves, that they
have received the correct question paper. The code of the question paper should be
compared with the code mentioned in the hall ticket. If the candidate answers a wrong
question paper,the answer paper will be invalid and will be marked “Zero”.

7. If the candidate is sure that the question is “out of syllabus” then the candidate shall
attempt the question or atleast copy out the question in the answer script. Only then
marks could be awarded.

8. Answers must be written legibly in blue / black ink. Candidates should write their
answers on both sides of the answer papers.

9. Candidates are prohibited from writing their names or any type / form of symbols at any
place in the main Answer Book.

10. Candidate should write correct question number in the margin of the answer script
before writing the answer.

11. The students should have signed the attendance sheet before leaving the examination
hall.

12. If any student is found to be directly or indirectly involved in malpractice of any kind
during examination, “Zero” mark will be given for the concerned paper and will be
debarred from subsequent appearances.
