Pattern

TIPS AND INFO

The top is worked from the bottom up in stockinette stitch on circular needles. You will split
work at the armholes and finish the front and back panels separately. You will pick up and knit
stitches along the neckline and armholes to work the ribbing.

BODY
CO 130 (140) 156 (170) sts with circular needles 6 mm, 80 cm. Place a st marker to mark the
beginning of round. Work 5 rounds of ribbing (k1, p1).

Change to circular needles 8 mm, 80 cm and knit 1 round, while decreasing as follows:

XS, S, L: *k3, k2tog*, repeat *-* until end

M: k1, k2tog, k1, k2tog, *k3, k2tog*, repeat *-* until end

You will now have 104 (112) 124 (136) sts on your needles

Continue around in stockinette stitch until work measures 21 (22) 23 (24) cm/ 8.3 (8.7) 9.1
(9.4) inches

Now you will bind off stitches for the armholes and divide work into front and back panels:

From the right side of work:
knit 12 (12) 13 (14) sts, BO 11 (12) 13 (14) sts for the neck, knit 12 (12) 13 (14) sts

Finish the shoulders separately.

Right shoulder
Purl 1 row
On the following 5 knit rows you will decrease 1 st along the neckline as follows:
k1, k2tog, knit until end

= 7 (7) 8 (9) sts on your needles

Work another 1 (1) 3 (3) row(s)

Let stitches rest

Left shoulder
Join yarn. Start with a purl row
On the following 5 knit rows you will decrease 1 st along the neckline as follows:
Knit until 3 sts before the neckline. K2tog, k1.

Let stitches rest

Back panel
Purl 1 row
Work decreases for the armholes the same way as the front panel.

BO for neck
Knit8 (8) 9 (10) sts, BO 19 (20) 21 (22) sts for neck, knit 8 (8) 9 (10) sts

Finish the shoulders separately.

Right shoulder

Knit 6 (6) 7 (8) sts, k2tog towards the neckline
= 7 (7) 8 (9) sts on your needles

Knit 1 row

Knit the shoulders together with 3 needles like this: hold work with right sides facing. Using
a third needle, knit 1 stitch from each needle together, knit 2 more sts together, and pass
the first st over the second. Continue knitting 2 sts together for every st you bind off.

Ribbing, armholes
Pick up and knit 76 (80) 84 (88) sts along the armhole using circular needles size 6 mm, 40
cm. your round will begin in the middle under the sleeve.
Knit 4 rounds of ribbing (k1, p1) and BO.

Ribbing, neckline
Pick up and knit 64 (68) 72 (76) sts along the neckline using circular needles size 6 mm, 40
cm. Your round will begin at the back neck. Knit 4 rounds of ribbing (k1, p1) and BO loosely.

Finishing
Weave in all loose ends. Your top is now finished :)
