Good morning:

Thank you, everyone, for giving me this

opportunity to show my skills and
experience."
My name is Noor Ahmed. I am done
Bachelor degree of Engineering and also
Master's in Supply Chain. I have total 16
years of experience in Material
management, inventory optimization, ERP
Implementaion, Master data management,
maintenance, and warehouse operations

My first job was in Lucky Cement Ltd, that

is the largest cement manufacturing plants
in Pakistan. I started as a trainee engineer,
working mostly on maintenance tasks,
planning roles as a maintenance planner.
My responsibilities was to creating BOM of
the equipment , prepare maintenance task
list, plan preventive maintenance, and
arranging of spare parts and other
resources required for the job.

In 2016, I was transferred to the material

management department in lucky cement,
where I was in charge of managing
inventory, overseeing warehouse
operations, establish new centralize
warehouse and working on ERP
implementation project as a power user.

In 2018, I joined Cnergyco Pakistan Limited,

that is also a largest oil refineries in
Pakistan. I currently lead a team of 18 staff
members. Over the past seven years, I led
several important initiatives and achieved
good results, like:

Establishing a new centralized warehouse

facility.
Unification of inventory from three
different plants into a single location.
Lead a turnaround
Standardizing of master data across the
organization.
Successfully relocating of 18000 inventory
items within the company's facilities.
Aditional job i have to supervise audit;
external and internal both, c100% physical
stock count, Update SOPs, preparing
budget purchasing and consumption
prepare reports like ageing, slow moving
reports, outstanding PR/PO review and
share weekly monthly bases,
Due to my background in maintenace field
and both qualification and experience as
an enginner and supply chain profession, i
beleive that i have better understanding of
invetory relevent issues like optimization,
slow moving, maintain reorder and MPR
This is my overall portfolio

Inventory optimization
Inventory optimization is a method through
which we can minimize excess stock and
costs while ensuring we have the right
amount of inventory when needed.
1. Critical assessment
2. Demand forcast
3. ABC analyses
4. JIT Strategy
5. EOQ (Economic order quantity) model
6. Standerization of materials
7. Segmentation of inventory
8. Rationalization of inventory
9. MIN/MAX review
10. reorder and safety stock
11. Inventory Optimization tool
12. Vendor managed inventory
13. Spare risk assessment

Preservation activities: mention in

maintenance manual or preservation
manual
14. Proper storage -clean, dry,venti,
15. tempreture control envi-humidity
16. labelling-expiry
17. Packaging-air tight-moisture
18. Inventory Management (FIFO)
19. Paste control
20. Invetory handling equipment-fork
lifter, pallet jack, wood pallets
21. Lubricating-
22. rotation
23. corrosion control
24. Emergency preparadeness
25. OFF the ground

Storage of Hazardeous material

26. Prpoper storage area (ventilation)
27. placement segregation (chemical
compatibility matrix)
28. Labelling (Hazard communication
set by OSHA i-e GHS it includes signal
word, pictogram, First aid and NFPA
diamond)
29. MSDS in area (7, 13 anf 14 section
about storage, disposal and
transportation)
30. Fire prevention (fire extinguisher,
smoke detector, sprinkler)
31. Security measure" CCTV
32. HAZOP Hazard and Oparatability

Achievement/ Projects
33. Standeraization
34. Implementation of ERP Project
35. Power user during ERP
implementation projects
36. Reloaction of inventory
37. Lead new centralize warehouse
38. Unification of Inventory
39. Lead turnaround
40. Colabration with other
similarindustries to get material on loan
bases in urgency.
41. Batch management for expiry
control
42. Automated inspection system

Hazard
43. Elimination
44. substitution
45. Engineering control
46. Administrative control

Inventory Issues by end user

Stockouts: Running out of critical spare can
lead to unplanned downtime, which can be
costly
Overstocking: Overstocking items can tie up
capital, lead to storage issues, and increase
carrying costs.
Obsolescence: Some spare parts and MRO
items have a limited shelf life or become
obsolete due to changes in technology or
equipment.

Inaccurate data: Incomplete or inaccurate

data about inventory can lead to errors in
ordering, tracking, and restocking items.

Lead time variability: Suppliers may have

varying lead times for different items

Item classification: Categorizing items

correctly (e.g., critical spares, non-critical,
consumables) is essential for prioritizing
orders

Forecasting: Accurately predicting future

demand for spare partsn is challenging,
especially when dealing with intermittent or
irregular demand patterns.

Storage and space limitations:

Cost control: Balancing the cost of holding
inventory with the need for timely access to
parts and materials is a continual challenge
for end users.

Tracking and visibility: Gaining real-time

visibility into inventory levels, order status,
and item locations is crucial for efficient
inventory management.

Materials (ASTM) publishes standards for materials and
testing

· Electrical standard

electrical and electronic components.
· NEC (National Electrical Code): The NEC, published by the National
Fire Protection Association (NFPA provide safety standards for
electrical installations. .
· NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association): NEMA
publishes standards related to the performance, construction, and
safety of electrical equipment. NEMA standards cover various
products, including enclosures, connectors, and motors.

product complies with European Union (EU) safety and
environmental requirements. It applies to a wide range of electronic
and electrical products.

Final remearks
Finally, I want to say that I am a alrounder and multitasking individual and always
give 100% effort with full commitment and honesty. It's ver difficult to cover all my
skills, expertise, and the projects I've led in this short time. If there were any
questions I amnot able to answer up to your expectation, it is because of my
nervousness as this is my first international interview. I've recently made the
decision to move abroad.

If you give me the opportunity, I can assure you that I will go above and beyond
your expectations. Thank you for considering me as a candidate, and I'm looking
forward to contribute to your team
