The illustrations present how Dreamland has changed since 1992.

Overall, this area

has witnessed various transformations, most notably with changes in commercial
facilities as well as the addition of recreational amenities.

To begin with, in 1992, the maps indicate that there was a High street running from
north to south, which divided the city into two distinct parts. On the left side of the
street, there were an old market coupled with a pond. Located on the right side were
a toy store and a small bus stop, east of which were a kindergarten opposite a
children playground. Besides, a fairy avenue running from west to east also
separated the city from a forest.

After a course of 31 years, the old market and the pond has been removed to be
converted into a larger shopping mall and a tiara fountain. Next to them has been an
establishment of an apartment complex to serve the local inhabitants. One further
development is that a new university, together with a hall of residence has been
built, resulting in the demolish of the old kindergarten and the playground for
children. The toy store and the bus top have been also has been knocked down to
make way for a metro station. Finally, the forest has been developed into a new
central park named Angle for commercial purposes.
