2. Write a short dialogue including INFORMAL greetings and farewells

A:Hi.
B:What's up?
A: Hey, I heard you’re going on a trip soon! Where are you headed?
B: Yeah, I’m super excited! I’m going to Japan for two weeks.
A: That sounds amazing! What made you choose Japan?
B: Well, I’ve always been fascinated by Japanese culture, and I’ve heard so
many great things about the country. Plus, I’ve been wanting to try authentic
sushi for a long time.
A: That’s a great reason! Have you planned out your itinerary yet?
B: I have a rough idea, but I still need to finalize some details. I definitely
want to explore Tokyo and visit some traditional temples in Kyoto.
A: Those are must-see places! Any specific activities or attractions you’re
looking forward to?
B: I really want to visit the famous Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo and
experience a traditional tea ceremony in Kyoto.
A: That all sounds incredible. Do you have any concerns or things you’re
preparing for?
B: Well, I’ve been trying to learn a few basic Japanese phrases to help me get
around. And I’ve been researching the local customs and etiquette to ensure
I don’t unintentionally offend anyone.
A: That’s smart! It’s always good to be respectful of the local culture. Don’t
forget to try some local street food too! It’s usually delicious.
B: Definitely! I’m already making a list of all the must-try dishes. I can’t wait
to indulge in some ramen and sushi.
A: Well, it sounds like you’re going to have an amazing time. Safe travels and
enjoy every moment of your trip!
B: Thank you so much! I’ll make sure to share all the highlights when I’m
back.
A: Good day.
B: Bye bye

3. Write a short dialogue including FORMAL greetings and farewells

Julia: Good morning, I was wondering if your bank is offering a loan to

buy a car. I want to buy a car for my work, but I need a loan for that.

David: Yes, ma'am. We offer loans for the purchase of a car. Do you

have a bank account at this bank?

Julia: Yes. I have a bank account here. Actually, I have some documents

to show you my banking details.

David: That's great. Can I look at your credentials?

Julia: Yes, here they are!

David: It seems that you are availing two other loans from the bank

and you have not fully repaid the loans yet. It's true?

Julia: Yes. I have been availing two loans, namely a home loan and an

education loan for my children. Can I get another loan? I have been

paying the monthly installments of the other two loans regularly.

David: I'm sorry, ma'am. You cannot avail three loans at the same time.

You can apply for another loan when you have paid off one of your
current loans. That will be in December and you can apply on that

date.

Julia: Oh! I see. Thanks for your valuable information.
