UPDATED Spring Music Tour 2023 – Commitment Letter

Dear Parents/Guardians of L.A. Matheson’s Music Department,

After a few years of not travelling, we are finally able to. Our alternate Spring Music Tour this year is
BANFF/CALGARY, a tour that we were scheduled to go to in 2019-2020. We will be
working with Ellison Tours and Travels, whom will be organizing a detailed and thorough itinerary once
we are able to submit a preliminary list of students interested in going, and a completed 1st deposit.
The quote below is based on 50 paying students. More people, the lower the cost.
5 Days, 4 Nights Performance Tour, any time between Tuesday May 23 – Monday May 30 2023
(tentatively) – $800-1100 per person.
TO NOTE: I was only supplied a SAMPLE itinerary that was previously done for FIVE (5) days. I am requesting FOUR (4) days, as this should also help with costs.

To secure pricing, we must act quick - please return this form no later than FRIDAY,
DECEMBER 16 2022 with FIRST HALF DEPOSIT/PAYMENT of $100.
Second HALF of Deposit/Payment: $400 due Tuesday January 10, 2023 → Note: After this date, in
a few weeks, a finalized amount will be realized once we are able to secure bookings.
FINAL Payment: ~$400-700 (less to include fundraising/other options) due Thursday March 16, 2023
In the case that this trip does not follow through (will find out evening of Friday, December 16, 2022), there will not be a tour this school year.

I have read the above information, and we are committed to have our child go on the Spring
Music Tour to BANFF/CALGARY. After first payment is made (Fri.Dec.16) and we are 100%
confirmed in going with our numbers, there will be no withdrawing from the trip, as you will be
committed. All payments will be made in full by the given deadlines.
