Gland packing is widely used to seal and

limit leakage along stems in valves and shafts in
the case of pumps as well as for stationary tasks
such as sealing manhole covers, etc. Gland packing
is also used to reduce leakage of working fluid in
rotating pump

s such as centrifugal pumps, and screw and

gear pumps.Pump Packing
KenzioTech provides gland packing as
needed.
Pump packing is used for high shaft speeds. Pump packing contains specially formulated lubricants
to aid equipment start up and ensure packing pliability for a longer life.

Valve Packing
Valve packing is generally used in high pressure applications. The packing contains no extractable
materials such as oil and remains non-porous even under extreme temperatures. The construction has a
fine surface texture making it pliable against the valve stem and is by design very extrusion resistant.
