SURAH#114
REVELATION :MAKKAH
AYAAH#1-6
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, {1} ١ ِ‫ﻗُلْ أَﻋُو ُذ ﺑِرَ بﱢ ٱﻟﻧﱠﺎس‬
The Sovereign of mankind,{2}
٢ ِ‫َﻣﻠِكِ ٱﻟﻧﱠﺎس‬
The God of mankind,{3}
٣ ِ‫إِ َﻟ ٰـ ِﮫ ٱﻟﻧﱠﺎس‬
From the evil of the retreating whisperer {4}
٤ ِ‫ﻣِن ﺷَرﱢ ٱﻟ َْوﺳْ َواسِ ٱﻟْﺧَ ﻧﱠﺎس‬
Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of
٥ ِ‫ﺻدُورِ ٱﻟﻧﱠﺎس‬
ُ ‫ٱ ﱠﻟذِى ﯾ َُوﺳْ وِ سُ ﻓِﻰ‬
mankind{5}
٦ ِ‫ﻣِنَ ٱ ْﻟ ِﺟ ﱠﻧ ِﺔ َوٱﻟﻧﱠﺎس‬
From among the jinn and mankind".{6}

 Narrated 'Uqbah bin 'Amir Al-Juhani: that the Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said:
"Some Ayat have been revealed to me the likes of which have not been
seen: Qul A'udhu Birabbin-Nas until the end of the Surah and Qul A'udhu
Birabbil-Fala until the end of the Surah."

 Abdullah b. Mas'ud reported that Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬said: There is
none amongst you ith hom is not an attache from amongst the inn (devil).
They (the Companions) said: Allah's Messenger, with you too? Thereupon he
said: Yes, but Allah helps me against him and so I am safe from his hand and
he does not command me but for good.

‫‪NAMES OF ALLAH IN THIS SURAH‬‬
‫ﺑِرَ بﱢ ٱﻟﻧﱠﺎسِ‬
‫َﻣﻠِكِ ٱﻟﻧﱠﺎسِ‬
‫إِ َﻟ ٰـ ِﮫ ٱﻟﻧﱠﺎسِ‬
 Anas said, "While the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was
with one of his wives, a man passed by and the Prophet, may Allah bless him
and grant him peace, called him and said, 'So-and-so, this is my wife so-and-so.'
The man said, 'Whoever I might suspect, I would not suspect you!' The Prophet
said, 'Shaytan flows in the son of Adam like blood flows.'"

● Meaning:Waswasa Dalne Wale/The Whisperer

● Whispers from devil of mankind and Jinn
● Negative thoughts
● Repeated thoughts and Continuous thoughts
● THOUGHT—->HATE—--->EVIL ACTION
 ِ‫ٱﻟْﺧَ ﻧﱠﺎس‬

● The one who withdraws and comes back

● Hears the zikr of Allah and goes an again comes back
● Comes to the heart which is EMPTY OF ALLAH ,the zikr of Allah,the love of
Allah ,Void of Allah,Ego

● Breast/chest
● He can’t enter our heart but whispers into our chest
● He knocks /He leaves a blow in the chest -we let it in OR ignore it
● He also whispers in the hearts where Quran are there
● Nafs plays a key role
