A very good morning to respected chair and my fellow delegates. I am Edward J Laurent . I was
born in 1933 . I am a Spatial Ecologist and a founder of “Connecting Conservatives”
organisation . (Which focuses on developing and delivering collaborative, science-based
recommendations and tools that enable the implementation and evaluation of conservation
activities. )We have only one earth and our future depends on it . So let us try take care of it . Me
and my team has focused on expanding the role of GIS ( geographical information system ) ,
remote sensing and database technologies in natural resource management and has published
on these methods in both the scientific and technical literature. In my projects I have researched
using the spatial and spectral precision of satellite imagery to predict wildlife occurrence
patterns , the northeast bird monitoring handbook and many of others . Which resulted in
slowing down the pace of endangering species due to human domestic activities . Thankyou .
