Coreopsis seeds are low-maintenance, drought-tolerant, and produce a long blooming

flower.

Coreopsis is a daisy-like flower that loves the sun. So, in this article, we will guide you
to grow coreopsis seeds in your garden, to attract more butterflies and add colors.

How To Sow Coreopsis Seeds?

1. Take a Seedling Tray and fill it with Cocopeat.
2. Make ½ inch deep hole and put 4 seeds in each hole.
3. Fill the hole with Cocopeat and spray with water.
4. Seeds will germinate within 2-3 weeks.
5. The time to flower is approximately 10 weeks.
6. The best time to sow coreopsis seeds is in early summer.
How Much Water Does Coreopsis Seeds Need?
1. The seeds need water three times a week.
2. Water them on the root area.
3. Don’t water them on the leaves.

Does Coreopsis Need Full Sunlight?

1. Yes, it needs full sunlight.
2. But protect them from excess heat.
3. The idle temperature to grow the coreopsis is from 20° C to 25° C.

What Is The Best Soil Type For Coreopsis?

1. The best soil type is fertile, well-drained, sandy, or loamy soil.
2. The pH of the soil must be neutral.

What Is The Best Fertilizer For Coreopsis?

1. Vermi Compost for nutrients every week.
2. Seaweed for better germination.
3. Epsom salt for fruits once a month.

Also,

1. If you want to grow in a pot, then take a Medium Size Pot and add a Potting Mix.
The potting mix contains all the essential nutrients that a plant needs.
2. If planting in the soil add Neem Cake Powder, Vermi Compost, and Seaweed.
