Preface

Thank you for using the DC charger EVSED series, and the user’s manual is
special for the model EVSED60A‐2Q. Please read this manual carefully
before using the product and ensure installation and operation follow the
manual. Please keep the user's manual in a safe place for future
maintenance or reference during the operation.

The charger has been subject to strict quality control before leaving the
factory. You can use it with confidence. If you have any difficulties or problems,
please contact us.

1.Product overview

The DC charger shall comply with GB/T18487.1-2015 and

corresponding communication standards GB/T 27930-2015, GB/T

34657.1-2017 and GB/T 34658-2017. The communication

protocol with central management system (CMS) is in compliance

with OCPP 1.6 based on ARM architecture and Linux / Android

platform.

2. Announcements
I. Install, maintain and repair the DC charger under power OFF.
II. Non-professionals are forbidden to open the door when the power is on.
III. Don’t try to remove the connector during charging.
IV. Press the emergency stop button when abnormal operation.
V. Do not stack sundries at the bottom and back of the charger to block the
ventilation.
VI. Dedust the inside every month, especially for the strainer.
VII. Check the SPD every month, which is in the back of the charger. Replace
the SPD when the indicator is in red.

5. Installation

5.1 installation condition

I. The charger should be installed on a flat concrete foundation,
with a cable entrance reserved.
II. The vertical inclination is less than 5%.
III. Fix the bottom of the charger by eight M8 screws embedded in
the foundation.
IV. Keep at least 100cm spacing around the charger for heat
dissipation and operation

5.2 Electrical connection

The electric supply system is 480VAC 3 phase Wye. Connect the

external cable to the internal terminals according to the symbol, L1, L2,
L3 and PE (earthing).

6. Preparing for use

I. Insure the input circuit breaker in clause 5.2 is OFF.
II. Check the earthing is correct and the input voltage is correct.
III. Close the two circuit breakers in the front door to ON.
IV. Check the door is locked correct.

7. Operating instruction
User instructions
1:Insert the connector into the EV inlet.

2:The card needs to be swiped to start charging .

When you want to stop charging halfway ,press the reminder to swipe the
card again.

3: System Automation and Automobile Communication with the car and starts
charging.

4: Real-time Charging Information.

When the car battery is full, which will stop charging automatically, the
bill is displayed at the end of the order, Please plug the charging gun back into
the side socket of the device.

If an error occurs, the charging will automatically end too and an error
message will be displayed.

8. Transportation and preservation

I. It is recommended to use a forklift for loading work.
II. Do not stack the charger during transportation.
III. Please bundle the equipment securely during transportation to prevent
dumping.
IV. Please keep the outer packaging of the equipment until the installation
site, so as to protect the charger’s enclosure.
V. Keep the packaging film of the device when long-term storage for
moisture protection.
VI. The charger must be erected to prevent tilting or lying on the side.
VII. Prevent heat source away to the charger.
VIII. Store the equipment indoors, keep the environment dry and ventilated,
and keep away from the water source.

9. General troubleshooting
