Metodology

This research article discusses the how do social media users perceive and define the
offensive behavior, and how does this perception vary across different demographic groups
such as gender, age and cultural background.

This paper has three goals:


- Defining the offensive behavior and hate on social media.
- How individuals act in real life with these behaviors?
- Are there demographic factors that correlate with making people offensive on social
media?

This research question has been planned to include users from different social media
platforms and individuals with various demographic characteristics. A total of 50 participants
were selected, and demographic informations such as gender, age and education level of the
participants was taken into account. In this research survey method will be used, focus groups
and in-depth interviews to get a more complex information of people’s experiences.
Dependent variable is perceptions of offensive behavior and independent variables are
demographic factors like gender, age, cultural background.

In the research, ethical principles will be followed, and written consent will be obtained from
the participants. A statement will be provided to the participants explaining the purpose and
objectives of the research, and detailed information will be given about the methods to be
used in the research, the data collection process, and potential risks.
In conclusion, the obtained results and comments on the offensive behaviors on social media,
as well as how these behaviors occur and are interpreted, will be explored. Additionally, the
variability of these behaviors will be explained in detail based on different factors.
