NATURAL GAS TRANSFER

EN 1762:2019 -TYPE S&D
Application: Natural gas suction and delivery hose for filling and
draining tanks and for dockside services. Manufactured
according to EN 1762;2019 type S&D, CL 425 MARINE, is a
heavy duty hose suitable both for gaseous form or liquified
form, within the temperature range declared in this data sheet.
Ideal for large volume bulk loading and unloading. The hose
construction incorporates multiple plies of textile reinforcement
for flexibility and wire helices for kink resistance. The cover is
resistant to abrasion, oil and ozone, and is engineered to resist in
Marine environmental. The hose meets the EN ISO stringent
requirements.
Features: The molecules of Natural gas, are small, enhancing
their ability to permeate through standard rubber hose
construction. The permation process is more rapid as the
working pressure increases, and Natural Gas may accumulates
with potential dangerous consequences. The special tube
compound of CL 425 MARINE, is extremely Gas-tight, tested
according to ISO 4080:1995 method 1. In addition, the hose
incluudes bleeder cords to allow trapped gas to be safely vented
out, and cover is pin-pricked to allow the permeation of gases.
Temperature range: -40°C / +80°C
Safety factor: 4 : 1
Tube: Gas-tight, High Nitrile rubber, black, smooth inner tube,
oil resistant, antistatic.
Reinforcement: Textile wrapped, double steel wire helix.
Multiple plies of high tenacity synthetic cord.
Electrical properties: Built in copper conductive wire,
electrical continuous.
Cover: Synthetic rubber, black, resistant to oil, abrasion,
weather, sea water and ozone, fabric impression. On request
CL 425 MARINE can be manufatured in the SELF-FLOATING
version.
Marking: Continuous transfer tape:
"ROITER® CL 425 MARINE - EN 1762 - S&D - MADE IN ITALY"
and embossed tape according to EN 1762
