Section A [28 marks] Answer all questions in this section Time suggestion in this section is 60 minutes. 1 An experiment carries out to investigate the relationship between presure and temperature at constant volume as shown in Diagram 1.1. Water and ice in the beaker is steered continiously to remain water temprature at 0 0C. The corresponding presure is recorded by measuring the different levels of mercury colum in the U tube by meter ruler and is marked as h1 as shown in Diagram 1.2.

The experiment is repeated by increasing the temperature, of water to 20 oC, 40 oC, 60 oC, 80 oC and 100oC. The different level of mercury coulum is h2, h3, h4, h5,band h6 . Diagram 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, and 1.7 shows the result of the different level of mercury coulum in the experiment. [Drawing in Diagram 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, and is actual size]
