Pre-Arrival Orientation
Spring 2024 International Intake

Please read through this step-by-step guide and complete the Pre-
Arrival Orientation request before arriving at Northwest Missouri
State University. Failure to complete the Pre-Arrival Orientation will
delay your ability to attend the mandatory, in-person International
Orientation.
STEP ONE: Log into the International Involvement Center Portal using your Northwest Network credentials. Your username will be
your student S#, not the entire student email (for instance if your student email is S555555@nwmissouri.edu, your username will
be S55555) and your password will be the same as your student email password.
STEP TWO: Read over the information on the Pre-Arrival Information tab
STEP THREE: Click on the #2 Personal & Program tab and review the information for accuracy. If you need to update any
information on the tab, you will need to submit a Demographics Update request under the Requests tab.
STEP FOUR: Click on the #3 Requests tab and you will see the available requests. Click on the Pre-Arrival Orientation request.
STEP FIVE: Answer the Pre-Arrival Questionnaire, then click next. If you’ve found accommodations in Maryville, be sure to enter the
address.
STEP SIX: Upload your documents and then click Submit. You are all set! (Make the I-20 you upload is signed by you!)
