SPECIALIZED TRAINING
Lean Manufacturing Boot Camp III Basic Statistics, Introduction to Six Sigma (RDMAIC), Design of Experiments, and Robust Design through hands-on exercises with the aid of Mini-tab. Introduced to internal and external logistics design through case study analysis and design of a local manufacturing operation (Toyota/Transfreight Cross-dock). Capstone project included the design, fabrication, and test of equipment applying principles and practices learned from all three boot camps. Lean Manufacturing Boot Camp II Capstone projects include redesign of a pneumatic regulator, lubricator, and filter factory through current state layout and value stream analysis, capacity analysis, process and flow kaizen identification, production control, cell formation, production flow analysis, tooling analysis, and pull systems. Lean Manufacturing Boot Camp I Designed, implemented, and worked as a team member in two mixed-model production assembly systems utilizing lean flow ideals, 5S / workstation design, motion economy, ergonomics, pull systems, source quality, and value stream mapping.
