Global Secondment Program (GSP)
 The Global Secondment Program (GSP) is an opportunity for officials of a member country, Eligibility Criteria
regional agency, development bank, international organization, academia, or private
enterprise to be appointed on a Special Assignment to WBG.  This is a full-time appointment
of an official of a member
 Onetime Special Assignment Appointments are usually one to two years; they can be for a country, regional agency,
development bank,
minimum of six months depending on the criteria of the assignment. The length of the international organization,
appointment should not exceed four years. academia, or private enterprise
to the Bank Group.
 Each assignment is arranged directly between the WBG's hiring manager, the external  Participants are junior and mid-
organization, and the participant. career professionals who are
currently full-time employees
receiving salary and benefits
from the partner organizations.
In accordance with Bank
guidelines, retirement age is 67
years of age. Participants may
not exceed age 67 while on
assignment.
