Steel Slag Recycling Solution

Steel slag is a kind of solid waste produced in steel smelting. With our equipment, iron powder and steel slag can
be effectively recovered. The process of steel slag recycling mainly includes crushing, ball milling and magnetic
separation.

Features of our processing solution:
1. The purpose of crusher and ball mill is to break the steel slag to small size to extract steel or iron.
2. ③Magnetic separator is a belt magnetic separator, we use it to remove waste which can not be recycled by
magnetic separator. This step also reduces the workload of all the following machines.

3. ④Rotary screen is very necessary, because according to the pictures you send to me. There are big steel
blocks. If the steel blocks over 4cm into the jaw crusher(PEX), then the jaw crusher(PEX) can be easily
damaged. So we suggest to use a rotary screen to separate steel slag over 4cm from steel slag less than 4cm.
4. Material screened out over 4cm is almost steel, but not pure. If you want to get pure steel, then use a roller
polishing mill. Roller polishing mill is the most suitable equipment to deal with this kind of material
5. Jaw crusher can adapt to long time work and less maintenance cost.
6. ⑥Jaw crusher (PEX) and ⑦ ball mill are used to crush steel slag into small pieces .
7. ⑧Screen is made of stainless steel and it is connected to the outlet of the ball mill.
8. According to our experience, the grade of iron in steel slag sand (less than 0.5mm) is 20%-30%. Even we use a
dry magnetic separator to process the steel slag sand, the grade of iron in steel slag sand can reach around
40%. A 40% grade iron in steel slag sand is useless in my country. So it is your choice to decide whether to use
a dry magnetic separator to process the steel slag sand.
