The Earth's climate has changed several times throughout history.

According to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration

(NASA), there have been seven cycles of warming and cooling in the last
650,000 years. These earlier cycles occurred naturally as a result of
changes in the atmosphere. In contrast, nearly all climate scientists agree
that the climate changes we are seeing today are caused by human
activities, especially deforestation, burning fossil fuels and these activities
are having serious negative effects on our planet.

The two primary causes of climate change are deforestation and burning
fossil fuels. Deforestation for agricultural land, logging and urban
expansion reduces forest coverage and diminishes the ability of trees to
absorb CO2. This leads to an increase in CO2 concentration in the air and
contributes to climate change. Another cause of climate change is
burning fossil fuels. The combustion of fossil fuels, including coal, oil,
and natural gas, results in greenhouse gas emissions, primarily carbon
dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O). These gasses
contribute to the greenhouse effect, trapping heat and causing global
warming.

The consequences of the climate change are significant impacts on the

environment, humans, and ecosystems. Climate change causes an
increase in average global temperatures. This leads to planetary warming
and the phenomenon of tropicalization, affecting climate, habitats, and
human life.Climate change causes changes in habitats and ecological
patterns. Climate change can lead to health issues such as increased risk
of tropical diseases, and respiratory problems.

To conclude, human activity is clearly causing the cumate to change and,

as a result, the planet is experiencing a number of negative effects. It is
important that we reduce our negative impact on the planet as much as
possible-for example, by using renewable energy instead of fossil fuels-
before it is too late.
