I. THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKROUND

INTRODUCTION

At this point of time wherein we are facing a crisis, many lives had been affected. We

are facing poverty, lack of aid, and also the failing economy. Some of the things that

had been really affected by this pandemic are jobs, transportation, businesses, and

many more, but what was affected heavily was our education system. Education is part

of one’s life, this part your life is where you will learn to know the meaning of knowledge,

your values, your beliefs, your habits, and also your own skills, and with the pandemic

affecting it many students or children have no choice but to stop for the sake of their

own health.

With this, the education department of each school or universities have thought of a way

that will still let the students learn amid the pandemic wherein they will use modules as

their basis of education. These modules contain either their lessons or activities that

they have to comply for. The question is, is this new approach effective? Or somehow

not? The aim of this research is to know whether this is a good and effective approach

or not by asking the students or the people. This way we will know what approach is

much possible to make so that the students can have the right education they truly

need.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM AND QUESTIONS:

This study aims to learn about the “Effectiveness of Modules as a New Approach

of Education Amid the Pandemic” which is one of the issues of students in general.

Specially, it seeks to answer the following questions:

1.Is module equivalent to the teacher when it comes to explaining the lesson?

2.How effective is the use of modules for the students?

3.Are modules enough for a students to learn the lessons?

Problem: The problem was concentrated on how effective the modular is as a new

approach of education amid the pandemic.

II. METHODS AND DESIGN

This chapter present research methods, sampling, data collection, pre-

intervention and post-intervention that were used in the study.

RESEARH METHOD

Descriptive method of research will be used in this study to identify which

information resource is easier and more effective to use for the students who study

module during pandemic as a new approach of education.

SAMPLING

This study will be conducted to all family members as respondents.

DATA COLLECTION

Data will be gathered from the respondent’s answers, interviews regarding to

the effect of module during pandemic as a new approach of education by family

members. Survey questionnaires through Google Form will be used as an instrument to

gather information and opinions from the respondents.
