Permissions
To film in the store it would’ve been recommended to ask the store manager if its ok to film,
however as Tesco is such a large chain I could film there briefly without requiring any further
permission. I only had to film very short scenes for my montage clips therefore it wasn’t anything
significant that needed the store to be closed off or an ailse. Additionally permission wasn’t
neccissarily needed as I didn’t get any members of the publics faces in my shots.

Suitability / shots for production (scene numbers)

As I didn’t need to worry about external people (and regardless they would’ve been useful to
promote the feeling of realism in my film), the space was ideal as a viewed this location as more of
a prop for my mise-en-scene as it had an abundance of food with all the nutritional information on
and I didn’t get any shots there that included other peoples faces
Lighting Information: Solutions:
I changed the exposure and the position I was
The lighter was ideal as I wanted to resemble a changing the exsposure from on my camera
harsh feel to add the disturbance of my before filming the shot to turn the brightness
protaganist constantly checking the nutritional down so it wasn’t as reflective
values however while Becca was checking the
values there was the issues of the harsh lighting
reflecting on the packaging making it difficult to
see the numbers

Sound Information: Solutions:

If I were filming dialouge in this location, sound

would’ve been a major issue however as the
scenes were for my montage which includes
overlaying music I didn’t need to worry about it

Power Information Solutions:

To change any filming equipment the Tesco had

a Costa which had a place to sit with power
sockets to change anything needed
