CHRISTMAS CAROLING
Rules and Regulations
1. This contest is open to all residents of Brgy Iringan aged 15-30.
2. There must be one entry per zone only.
3. The group must consist of 5 members or more.
4. Presentations must adhere to a maximum duration of 5 minutes. A deduction of
one point per minute shall be imposed over the time allotted.
5. Musical selections shall include any Christmas Carol songs or medley, provided
they stay within the allotted time limit.
6. The groups have the option to perform with accompaniment or acapella. The
performance must be jolly and entertaining.
7. Performances must incorporate dance steps or choreography for added artistic
expression. It must not contain any obscene gestures and lyrics offensive to certain
cultures, religious beliefs, and communities.
8. Use of animals, combustibles, and other hazardous materials during the
presentation is strictly prohibited.
9. The competition proper will be on December 25, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Brgy.
Gymnasium, Iringan, Allacapan, Cagayan.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

• Voice quality (harmony, blending, tone, intonation, breathing, projection, and pitch
balance) – 25%
• Choreography (stage balance, creativity, style, and execution) – 25%
• Musicality (interpretation, dynamics, timing, and expression) – 25%
• Costume (propriety, style, and adherence to the norms and decency) – 15% •
Overall Impact (visual aspect of the performance) – 10%
• TOTAL – 100%
