PRAYER AND FASTING GUIDE

The journey in this year has not ended yet. Thank God for how far He has brought
you. From January until now, He has been faithful.

Ezra 8:21-23 says -

21 There, by the Ahava Canal, I proclaimed a fast, so that we might humble ourselves
before our God and ask him for a safe journey for us and our children, with all our
possessions.
22 I was ashamed to ask the king for soldiers and horsemen to protect us from enemies on
the road, because we had told the king, “The gracious hand of our God is on everyone who
looks to him, but his great anger is against all who forsake him.”
23 So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer.

Why did Ezra declare a fast?

Ezra believed that God was more than able, and all sufficient to meet their needs.
He didn’t want to ask the King for help. He declared a fast to ask God to protect his
people, children and all their possessions.

WOW – this was amazing faith in action.

Get ready for God to protect and provide for you, and your family as you prepare to
enter the new year.

 o Jehovah will provide for you suddenly, in Jesus’ name.
o No evil - accident, death, sickness, or loss of any kind will come near your
dwelling, in Jesus’ name.
o There shall be no carry overs! Every blessing and breakthrough, be released
now - in the name of Jesus.

Spiritual Warfare is Real

But, you will become who God created you to be despite Satanic arrows and attacks
against your life. This fasting is declaring a fight against demonic opposition.

Day 1-3: Thanksgiving to the Lord

Psalm 103:1-5
1. Praise the LORD, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2. Praise the LORD, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
3. who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4. who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5. who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Below are more scriptures to mediate on:

Numbers 21:9, Hebrews 9:22, 1 Peter 2:24, Galatians 3:13.

Do not look at the wrong things in this prayer and fasting. Look at what Jesus has
already made available for you.

● Receive forgiveness of known, unknown or inherited sins.

● Inherited problems and curses are broken by the blood of Jesus.

 ● Shame, disappointment, delay, stagnation, and all stubborn problems must
surrender to Jesus.

Prayer of Salvation

To fully benefit from this prayer and fasting program, accept Jesus Christ as your
personal Lord and saviour.

Repeat this prayer –

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge I am a sinner. I believe you are the son of God. I ask
you to come into my heart, forgive my sins and be the Lord and saviour of my life.
I surrender my life to you and from today, I am a new creature. I am righteous
through the blood of Jesus. I will follow you Jesus for the rest of my life. Thank
you for saving me - AMEN!

Come to the Father’s Throne of Grace

Hebrews 4:16 says -

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find
grace to help in time of need.

● Ask God for mercy and help you! (Lord have mercy on me, my family,
children, husband - specify).
● Be confident that He will provide for you.
● Ask for grace to finish strong and well. Let God fight every battle and give
you VICTORY!
● May God Almighty arise and scatter all your enemies, in Jesus’ name.

Scriptures: John 14:14, Mark 11:23-24, Matthew 7:7, Isaiah 1:19, Jeremiah 33:3,
2 Corinthians 8:9, Ephesians 3:20, Romans 4:17-21, Isaiah 54:1-4, Mark 9:23,

This is your moment to ask God for anything.

Now, bind Satan from every aspect of your life and loosen your breakthrough -
Matthew 18:18.

It shall come to pass as you have declared it - in Jesus’ name (Job 22:28).

Day 1-2

Note: follow the steps above before you start with these prayers.

Prayers:

1. Father, thank you for your consistent love and kindness to me and my
family.
2. Thank you, Father, for your Son Jesus Christ, my redeemer.
3. Thank you for giving us the Holy Spirit as our comforter.
4. Holy Spirit, touch every heart and home represented in this fasting program
- in Jesus’ name.
5. I declare this fasting a success. It will give birth to unstoppable testimonies
in my life – in Jesus’ name.
6. Father, release angels of blessings, favour, and prosperity to bring
abundance to me - in Jesus’ name.
7. O God, my heart is ready for the radical changes coming my way this month
- in Jesus’ name.
8. Let every garment of shame covering my destiny, burn to ashes now - in the
name of Jesus.
9. I prophesy that where there’s delay and stubborn problems, I will receive
double portion of glory - in Jesus’ name.
10.I speak to the mountain of financial debt, be removed from my life - in Jesus’
name.

 11.Any demonic yoke of delay on my academics, business, career, finances,
family, marriage, marital destiny________(specify), be broken - in the
mighty name of Jesus.
12. Father, by the power of the Holy Spirit, draw more souls into your kingdom -
in Jesus’ name.
13.I ask for the nations to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ by the
power of the Holy Spirit.
14.You principalities, powers, rulers, and spiritual wickedness closing my
heaven; I pull you down now, in Jesus’ name.
15.By the Word of God in Isaiah 54:17, I destroy every weapon formed against
my life - in Jesus’ name.
16.My destiny, hear the Word of God and begin to shine - in the name of Jesus.

Day 3

Final push for the release of your breakthrough. Shine! Your light has come.

Isaiah 60:1-3 says -

1. “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
2. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD
rises upon you and his glory appears over you.
3. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

Prayers:

1. O God my Father! Thank you for redemption through the blood of Jesus.
Today, I can cry ABBAH Father because Jesus has set me free from the curse
of sin and death.
2. I declare that I am forgiven and justified by the blood of Jesus. Let no
witchcraft agents trouble me. For I bear on my body, the marks of the Lord
Jesus Christ.
3. Fire of the Holy Ghost, propel my life to the next level - in the name of Jesus.

4. My time has come to be favoured, in Jesus’ name.
5. I will arise and shine in this month, by the Spirit of God.
6. Consuming fire of God, burn any evil alter erected for my downfall - in Jesus’
name.
7. I shall testify and see the glory of God in this land - in the name of Jesus.
8. My Father, restore my stolen glory permanently - in Jesus’ name.
9. I command every evil cage on my breakthrough and prosperity to break now
- in Jesus’ name.
10.My destiny, receive the grace and anointing to be fruitful, increase and
expand - in Jesus’ name.
11.I can see Kings and destiny helpers coming to the brightness of my rising
this month - in Jesus’ name.
12.This month shall end with good news and testimonies with nothing missing
and nothing broken - in Jesus’ name.
13.I seal my prayers and testimonies in the blood of Jesus.
AND SO SHALL IT BE - in the name of Jesus Christ!
