Unless I specify some other way, you are going to work in rounds, in a continuous spiral.
To know which round you’re on and count with ease, use a stitch marker (that you will move and place at
the beginning of each new round).
Before the slip knot of a chain, before starting a magic ring, or even
at the end of your work before fastening off, always leave a looong yarn tail. It will help for sure !
To test a spot and check a position, to sew or to tweak…

There are several ways to write a crochet pattern, some terms and formulations may vary from one author to
another. To easily follow my pattern, see below for the wording I use :

027 - orange
006 - yellow
011 - pink
060 - black
When made with RICORUMI DK and a 2.5 mm crochet hook, this little circle is 2.5 cm diameter.
The choice of colours, yarn and size of the crochet hook is totally up to you !
I’ve noted the ones I used for informational purposes.

The festivities of the Día de los Muertos, meanwhile, take place on the first two days of November,
in an explosion of joie de vivre and colours. The main theme remains death, but it is all about
celebrating it, showing love and respect for the deceased family members.
In the villages and cities of Mexico, everyone wears make-up and dresses up, sings, dances, throws
flower petals, lights candles and makes offerings to loved ones who have disappeared.
Thus, kept alive by memory and spirit - our late ancestors are always among us.
According to me, this traditional festival is poetry, fascinating and full of meaning.
Thanks to our crochet hooks and Catrina, let’s celebrate together life and death !
