Resolution approving Gender and Development Plan

and Budget for CY 2024 in the amount of
FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY THREE
THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVEN AND
57/100 (423,106.57)
of Barangay Cadlan, Pili, Camarines Sur
WHEREAS, section 14, Article II of the Constitution provides that the State recognizes the
role of women in nation building, and shall ensure the fundamental equality before the law
at women and men;

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 36 of RA 9710, otherwise known as the Magna Carta of

Women (MCW) all government department, including their attached agencies, offices,
bureaus, state universities and colleges, government institution shall adopt gender
mainstreaming as a strategy to promote women’s human rights and eliminates gender
discrimination in their systems;

WHEREAS; PCW-DILG-DBM-NEDA JMC 2016 – 01 sets the Guidelines on the Localization of

the Magna Carta of Women;

WHEREAS; the same JMC provides for the guidelines in the preparation and formulation of
the Gender and Development Plan and Budget representing the different programs and
projects to be funded of not less than 5% of the total appropriation form the concerned
Local Government Unit;

WHEREAS, as presented to the Sangguniang Barangay of Cadlan for adaptation and

approval of Gender and Development Plans and Budget CY 2024 as follows:

NOW THEREFORE; on motion of Kagawad FELIMON V. ANACIN JR duly seconded by the
members of the Barangay Council be it;

RESOLVED as it is hereby resolves to approve the Gender and Development Plan and
Budget of this barangay CY 2024.

RESOLVED FURTHER that the copies of this resolution be forwarded to the line
Agencies/offices concerned all of Pili, Camarines Sur for their information.
