Instruction on securing arrangement, operation and maintenance of each light forming part of the lifebuoy is to be provided for user's reference. Further, instructions to the user is to include that, the light once activated and used affecting its specified duration is to be replaced as applicable wholly or the battery alone (same as used for prototype testing) 3. Each of the Lifebuoy self-igniting Light shall be clearly marked with approval information as per LSA Code 2017 4, Stowage height of Lifebuoy self-igniting Light above the waterline, in the lightest seagoing condition, is not to be greater than 30 m. 5. Lifebuoy self-igniting Light will require re-approval under following circumstances: ‘a. Any changes to the approved design parameters or construction or LSA Code or SOLAS b. Any changes in the location /address of the manufacturer as stipulated in the certificate without informing IRS in writing Any alteration being made to the manufacturing facilities and production process. 6.
