    The Health and Safety Executive of Northern Ireland (HSENI) and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) in England have determined that the Ecostick Spray product has a purely physical mode of action for controlling red mites in poultry. As such, the Control of Pesticides Regulations and Biocidal Products Directive and Regulations do not apply to this product. The HSENI principal inspector provided this assessment in a letter to Mr. Rooney of AVS Manufacturing and Marketing regarding the intended use of Ecostick Spray in the poultry industry.
