Dismantling Shaving foil (2) To be unlocked with button “A”

Cutter block (3) To be removed.

Swivel Frame (4) Unscrew bearing screws (6).

Remove swivel frame (4).

Housing (8, 12) Remove plug pins (16) by means of a needle

or a knife, remove screws (15). Remove cover
(14). Push the housing cover (8) in the middle
of the long hair trimmer approx. 1 mm in the
direction of the plug insert (13). Then remove
it from the bottom (12) by snapping it out to
the top on the left and right side of the
eccentric area.

Long Hair To be unfolded with the slider. Snap out LHT

Trimmer (7) (7) by pushing it out of the hinged angles in a
upward movement. Return the LHT to its
original position (in front of housing cover).
Then remove it from the indentation, turning
it 90° horizontally in front of the housing.
(The slider arm snaps out at the lead slot of
the LHT).

Plug insert (13) Snap out and remove the snap-on pin “C” in
the chassis (11).

Reassembly The reassembly has to be made in reversed order.

Attention is to be paid to the following points:

Long hair trimmer (7) Lift the slider by approx. 6 mm out of the
indentation of the housing cover, fixing it by
laying a match underneath. Insert LHT
horizontally in front of the housing cover
(cutting side to the right) with the slider lead
slot into the cranked sliding lever head. Then
the LHT is to be turned 90° (the cutting side.
now, faces downwards), to be placed in the
working position and snapped into the hinges.
Remove the match.

PCB (10) Attention must be paid to the correct

assembling position of the spring contacts of
motor and plug insert.

Insulating foil (9): To be attached to the PCB soldering side.

Housing bottom (12): To be applied with the lower side to the plug
insert area and to be snapped in the eccentric
area.

Housing-cover (8) To be placed evenly onto the chassis (LHT to

be inserted approx. 1 mm underneath the
upper edge of the housing back (12), and then
