INFORMATION FOR TENDERERS

The Tenderer is responsible for its own interpretation of all information listed below. Neither
CONTRACTOR nor OWNER will be responsible for the accuracy or completeness of such information or
interpretation. The climatological data, the geological information and the drill hole cores, or core logs
when such data is known to be available and is given or referred to below, are not intended as
representations or warranties, but are furnished for information only. This information is being made
available solely for the convenience of the Tenderer.

1. SITE LOCATION

The site is located in the city of Riyadh, Riyadh Province in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The
city is at an elevation of 612 metres.

2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Sports Boulevard is a cycling and sports corridor that inspires new development, promotes
wellness and social exchange, and enables vibrant communities to thrive. In support of Vision
2030, the project’s overarching goal is to improve the quality of life for all residents by taking a
people-first approach to design of the public realm.

The project spans three distinct corridors: Wadi Hanifah, Wadi Sulay, and Prince Mohammed Bin
Salman Road. It stretches 135 km from end-to-end and will add over 3.500.000 square meters of
urban open space to the City of Riyadh. It will provide over 1.000.000 square meters of prime
development land adjacent to world class projects and recreation facilities. It will include over 220
km of cycling paths, providing riders of any skill level a unique and memorable experience.
Collectively, the Sports Boulevard (SB) will become an international destination for those seeking
unique riding experiences, iconic and exciting urban environments, and authentic Saudi culture.

The subject Tender’s scope is package 6 A, B, and C of the Sports Boulevard Project which is
summarized as follows:
• Package 6A – The Rapid and the Convergence (841 linear meters).

The main structure elements are as follows: wadi al yaseen center, maintenance
garage, water facility building, cycle pavilion 11, two restrooms, ten elevators, roads,
retaining wall, water features, shade structure, hardscape, softscape, two vehicular
bridges, two cycling bridges, and two pedestrian bridges.

• Package 6B – The Narrows and the Currents (1,500 linear metres).

Package 6B is divided into two zones Narrows and Currents. The main structure
elements are as follows: water facility buildings, rental Facility, cycle pavilion 12, two
restrooms, retaining wall, climbing wall, cave wall, water feature, hardscape,
softscape, six vehicular bridges, three cycling brides, and three Pedestrian Bridge

• Package 6C – The Run (940 linear metres).

Package 6C includes only one zone, the Run. The main structural elements are as
follows: one restroom, roads, hardscape, softscape.

3. METEOROLOGICAL INFORMATION

General Climatic Conditions


Riyadh has a hot desert climate. Summer temperatures are hot, occasionally approaching 50 °C
(122 °F). The average high temperature in July is 44 °C (111 °F). Winters are warm with cold,
windy nights. The overall climate is arid, receiving little rainfall, but the city receives a fair amount
of rain in March and April. It is also known to have many dust storms when visibility can be
reduced to under 10 m (33 ft).

5. SITE ACCESS

The Site exists along the west side of Prince Mohammed Bin Salman road, between Suwayd Ibn
Harithah Road and Ar Rub Al Khali Road and runs through the Baghdad Interchange, the
infrastructural and vehicular connection to the King Abdullah Financial District. It is the
responsibility of the Tenderer to check on load limitations on the roads with any applicable
agencies.
