Job Description:
We are seeking a Product Designer who is driven by passion and goes by research. This is a
true “green field” opportunity with the ability to shape the product and lay down the foundation
of a stunning user experience for years to come.
Your primary role will be to conduct user research, design interfaces and interactions, perform
usability testing, and create prototypes to validate design concepts.
You’ll be responsible for driving both outstanding user experiences and company business
goals, and you’ll do this by delivering best-in-class UX that enables us to acquire new users and
convert them into loyal customers.

Responsibilities
Below are some of the responsibilities a UX designer is expected to assume:
- Leverage a human-centered design process to deliver an easy-to-use user interface and
user experience
- Develop personas, scenarios, and user stories
- Develop design system for the application and website
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups
- Work with and support UI developers in design implementation
- Work closely with design lead
- Designing and creating interactive prototypes with Figma
- Setup and conduct user testing of prototypes with Maze or similar tool

Qualifications expected of a UX designer:

- Familiarity with web platform technologies
- Experience with maintaining and creating design systems
- Created user interface design for a SaaS product
- Experience with cloud infrastructure or enterprise software products
- Ability to create rapid hi-fidelity designs
- Minimum 2 years of experience in UX design or Product design field
- Strong portfolio with latest examples of your work

The Andromeda Security founding team consists of serial entrepreneurs who have led
successful startups like Andiamo Systems, Avi Networks and Shasta Networks. They have a
proven track record of creating disruptive technologies in Cloud Infrastructure, Networking, and
Security. They have had leadership positions in companies such as VMware, Cisco, and Adobe
and startups. They are alumni of prestigious institutions like IIT, BITS Pilani, Stanford, Berkeley,
Arizona State University and UT Austin. Their new venture aims at simplifying cloud security
with focus on zero trust for securing identities and their entitlements using AI/ML.

Founders:

Murali Basavaiah, CEO: Murali is an entrepreneur & senior executive with 25+ years of
experience in Distributed Systems, Infrastructure, and Security. Murali was co-founder of Avi
Networks (acquired by VMware). Post-acquisition, he drove the Avi business and grew the
revenue by 3x with 1000 customers.

Ashish Shah, Chief Product Officer: Ashish has over 20 years of experience in product
management, GTM, and software engineering across startups and large enterprises. He led
product management, customer engagement, and business operations at Avi and VMware,
and helped grow Avi’s business from 0 to over $100M.

Gaurav Rastogi, VP of Engineering & CTO: Gaurav has 20+ years of experience in distributed
systems, cloud infrastructure, networking and video streaming. He was one of the founding
engineers at Avi, where he led vision and technology for real-time analytics, automation, and
web application security.
