A DAY-LIGHT ROBBERY

NEW DELHI, 15 JANUARY 2022, (TOI): An incident of a day-light

robbery in Anandpur Colony yesterday shocked the people of the
town. The incident took place around 11.30am when three people
broke into Mr. M S Bhalla’s house with pistols in their hands.

The robbers tied the family members and took the keys of the
cupboards and the safe. They left the house within minutes taking with
them jewelry worth Rs 2 lakhs and cash about a lakh.The neighbours
rushed to help the family when they heard the cries. The police were
informed and an FIR has been filed. Asha , one of the neighbours,
stated that the robbers had come in a blue TATA Safari. All of them
were in black and wearing masks. The family is shocked but luckily
none of them is seriously injured . The Police have started the
investigation based on the clues given by the family members.

The robbery has been listed with the police thana of the colony. They
have promised an early action to catch the robbers and are patrolling
in the area so that no new incident takes place in future.
 COLLISION BETWEEN A TRUCK AND CAR: TWO DIE ON THE
SPOT

NOIDA, 15 JANUARY 2022,(TOI): In the wee hours of the 15 January

2022, a speeding truck rammed into a car on the express highway.
The driver of the truck UP 16-5678 was driving in the wrong direction .
The owner of the car UP 16-2345 was caught by surprise of the
speeding vehicle and lost its balance.

The collision took place around 6am and near sector 93. The police
SHO reached the spot quick enough to help the wounded. Two
pedestrians Rajendre and Sohail residents of village Nithari lost their
lives in this accident. The driver Tejasvi Singh Licence no. 7654 has
been booked for reckless driving and death of the two pedestrians.
However the police couldn’t catch the driver. He is absconding.

The wounded have been hospitalized in the Apollo Hospital and are
under good care. Families of the deceased and the wounded have
been informed. A team of police is in search of the absconding driver.
